Ama Ka’rin: Amsterdam-Accra Artist Blends Afrobeats, R&B, Soul in Atlanta

Ama Ka’rin, a singer-songwriter with roots in Amsterdam and Accra, Ghana, and now based in Atlanta, is making a distinctive mark on the music scene. Her sound, a fusion of Afrobeats, Pop, R&B, and Soul, defies easy categorization.

“People should read about me because I bring a unique blend,” Ka’rin said. “My artistry is a fusion of culture, emotion, and rhythm, and I create music that uplifts, feels good, and resonates deeply with listeners.”

Music has been a lifelong passion for Ka’rin, who grew up making music with her father. Now, she’s building a dedicated fanbase, with over 200,000 followers across social media platforms.

Notable career highlights include the release of multiple tracks across streaming platforms, positive industry feedback, and being awarded Afropop/Afrobeats Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards 2024. Ka’rin is also a philanthropist, supporting the Divine Gateway Foundation Orphanage in Ghana.
